Sakae Sushi

CNY special edition 5

I had lunch at a place called Sakae Sushi in The Curve @ Damansara. It's a kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant like Sushi King and Genki Sushi. I thought it is a new sushi outlet but later i found out that Sakae Sushi is one of the big players in Singapore with more than 20 outlets in that tiny island alone.

The place was full and i had to line up to wait to be seated. It looks like a normal sushi restaurant to me. Then, we had our seat near the end of the shop....

inside Sakae Sushi

This Sakae Sushi is no different from other restaurants, only that at every seat, there's a 15" LCD screen and u can choose what u want to eat. The waiter only came to us for our drinks and we ordered our food from the menu on the screen.

we took a good 15 mins to look through the menu

choices aplenty and if u want special sushis, u can always order by wire.

Hmm...let's see what to order

there's also a normal menu, for those who are computer-illiterate

Kid's meal set. CUTE!

california roll

yummy!

beef bibindo

chef's recommendation... cawanmushi, nothing special also

We were quite full after the delicious meal. The sushi were cheaper than sushi king's n Genki's, in which normal sushi's cost Rm1.90 and Rm3.90, while premium sushi cost Rm 5.90. Oh ya, i forgot to mention the best thing i ever had in Sakae Sushi....

Sakae Sushi is located opposite O'Brien at The Street in the Curve. It serves good food at a good value of money and its worth a try.
