KLIA

I went to KLIA to fetch my cousin who came back from a working trip in Japan. It rained heavily and the landing was delayed. My other cousins and I waited for about half an hour and he hasn't arrive yet. So we decided to go Burger King to have a drink...

Ended up having supper. All the way from KL for this
The plane landed after we had our supper. At the arrival hall, i saw a group of men standing in a line just in front of the arrival hall. I was curios and soon found out when they approached everyone who came out from the arrival hall. Some of them even talked on top of their voice "hotel!hotel!" to some of the tourists who came out. There were also taxi drivers offering rides. Then they started to harass the tourists when they ignored them.

This group of "hotel reps" awaiting their "targets"

I wonder if that was necessary. The hotel counter are just situated just steps away from the arrival hall. No wonder our airport's ranking dropped last year and probably they were some of the contributers. This really makes our airport looks ciplak. Just hope that it will not get worse until lugguage boys and prostitutes start to look for a living in KLIA like those in poor countries.

Some of them were KLIA officials helping out tourists.
Others were hotel reps begging people to live in their hotels.

Desperate Hotel! 5 star cheap cheap!
Vacation Inn! good good!
Limo limo! 50! 50!
Uncle!Carry lugguage for u 5 ringgit!
Sexy... i'm yours for 3 days.. price negotiable!

See, it's so easy to turn our KLIA into a cheap market place if no action is taken. An airport is always said to be a window of the country. I do not wish people to see through this window to find a Malaysia of desperate and illegal traders. Do something before our countries image is tarnished.
