BK's greek lamb sandwich

CNY Special 15

There's always business rivalry between our fast-food chains, especially during festive periods. Nowadays, the competition is even more prominent as they tried to venture into each others market niches with new products. In my blog a couple of days ago, i wrote that KFC came out with a BIG fish sandwich in which they exaggerated about it's size to dupe consumers into trying them. Then i found out that the less ostentatious Burger King introduced the new Greek Lamb Sandwich. I tried one yesterday.

New Greek Lamb Sandwich

7" long burger

Burger King is pretty honest and they specified the measurements for this sandwich. This giant here is 7 inch long, unlike KFC which boasted of the size of their BIG fish sandwich and ended up to be a BIG letdown.

generous portions of vege and meat

The sandwich i had was great. The meat was juicy and the char-grilled taste was irresistable. Mind the onions if u don' like them. They are generous with the vege portions and i had a bad breath after eating the onions. I will definitely go back to BK for this Greek Lamb sandwich. This is what consumers want, something that's well worth for the money they spent. I was so full after meal and i wonder why didn't they label it as BIG like what KFC did? Maybe BK and KFC had different conceptions of quality and quantity of their products. The former promises value-for-money quality food. On the other hand, the Kent. Food Court came out with incessant promotions for publicity which led to the compromise of the quality of their food.
So what's next? Sure McD's Prosperity Burger la! Gosh! So much calories nowadays and getting fat even before CNY starts.
